This was my first day in my internship. The concern block party took place in Paramount Studios in Hollywood. This was a big event for the cancer association organization. There was a verity of people that exposed me to new cultures. My job was to check in photographers, journalist, and the social media guest. I had a list of people and every time someone came in I had to talk to them and talk about the event and overall just be friendly. Since it was my first day was very scared even though my mentor was beside me the whole time. I got really nervous since I was exposed to people and some famous. Since I did deal a lot with speaking to people, the first thing I had to do was step up my game and not stutter. I had to remind myself i was working with professionals. 

 When everyone was checked in my mentor and I were allowed to participate in the block party which was a pretty fascinating thing because tickets for the event were about $300-1500. This event was was all formed by sponsors and donations. For this one night event, it raises 1.5 million dollars. this concern foundation has raised and granted $55 Million to cancer research
